Mayday parade happened the first time in Milan in 2001. For three year it has been mainly located in Milan. Since three years it has grown to be a european wide process (and more). This year it involved more than 15 cities and Milan has been the most participated parade (more than 100 thousands people).
Below you an find what the Unbeatables did this year, after the stickers and collection in 2005. Unbeatables are a loose network of self-organized workers group, social spaces and collectives. Enjoy and think!

Our life is at stake? Let's play!

Precarity tranforms our existence in a lottery, making hope our only reason for
survival, in a devious trick along the lines of "try again, you'll be luckier".
Let's break this mechanism and reclaim our right to write the rules of our life.
The game we play this mayday involves action, self-organization and precarious
conspiration!
Participate with your collegues/friends/lovers and learn how to organize
yourself and conspire through the precarious survival kits you will find on the
Euromayday 006 vans and sound systems!
Transform hope into action, dare to win the tools to defeat precarity! Along the
mayday parade you have to look for the vans representing the 5 poles of
precarity and you will discover that conspiring pays off!
More unbeatables vans and sounds you will find out, more you will discover
self-organization tricks, more you will get tickets for the lottery and
survival kits, more you will be able to free your life from the chains of
precarity and to win the tools for your struggles!

ALONG THE ENDLESS ROADS OF THE KIT MAP THE FEELING OF PRECARIOUS PEOPLE WILL BECOME A CURSE TO THE COMPANIES!

Manuals, handbooks, cards, pins, cds, sabots, and many other things... But
especially a wide overview of the tactics, experiences, tricks that precarious
workers have used to struggle against precarity. Information are an important
tool, but they are not enough. To understand how to (re)act, what parameters to
use, which tools (new and old ones alike) is crucial.
The downgrade of income, of social safeguards, and generally speaking of social
rights are all original and poisonous sins forcing precarious people and
workers to think new forms of conflicts, new shapes for the relationships
through which struggle is spread, and new claiming able to subvert a perspective
seeing our life kneel down in every single moment to the needs of companies and
employers.
If employers strategies change, our strategies have to be able to evolve.
The lottery tells the tale of new claimings; the kit tell the tale of a
thousands different experiences able to fight for those claimings. It's
necessary a general point of view on reality, since precarity comes out of work,
transforms territories and filters thorugh the social side of our lives.
Nobody, nor left-wing, nor right-wing, will give you anything for free. Income,
love, knowledges, mobility, territories all mean conflict.

Brothers and Sisters, Precarious People. In an eternal and gloomy mental
afternoon a ray of light glimpse through the clouds: MAYDAY.
The frustration of those who feel precarious grows. Our life gets worse. And
while companies are allowed everything and rich people can get richer, we
precarious see our rights and income shrink every day, our working condition get
worse while our life gets bitter.

ENTER THE PRECARIOUS CONSPIRACY NETWORK

Let's tell you who we are not interested into: the one who lose their time,
opportunists, fanatics, militants looking for new churches, new faiths or new
religions, those who think but do not struggle and those who struggle but do not
think.
On the contrary the following categories are invited to join:
people who is sly, able to do stuff, compromised, fair but aggressive when it's
needed, lawyers and businessmen with no remorse against the stronger, leader of
artifice, jugglers of daily life, agents of Precarious Bureau of Intelligence,
viveurs, conflicts reagents, counterfeiters, smugglers, pirates, hackers,
witches of the images and fashion killers.
To everybody: from wherever you come, through the information nodes, anywhere
you are, in body and mind. Precarious but not afraid.

The viral and widespread proliferation of the precarious mayday, in Italy as
well as in Europe, in 22 cities all over the continent, makes the Euromayday the
most lively and true expression of the relationships, of the conflicts and of
the claimings of precarious people.

We claim new social rights for all of European precarious, born or migrants. THe
network organizing the mayday struggles against workfare (a society of work) and
any unfair and coercitive solution to fordist welfare crisis (the social state
in the industrial age).

With our will and desider to struggle and participate we want to cast the
foundations of a new welfare and a different society: horizontal and truly
democratic, where material and immaterial work, flexible or guaranteed, will not
be devalued and exploited, subject to precarity blackmailing, transforming ou
life in cultural and social slavery towards the companies and their profits.
